I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, chronic pain, and addiction. I work collaboratively with individuals and their families, and other mental health and medical providers. My goal is to help you customize a plan that enables you to find lasting change. This plan may involve medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

My approach is grounded in the theory of self-determination, with strong influences of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and humanistic psychology. I am especially interested in addiction psychiatry, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and chronic pain.

I am nationally board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed to practice independently as a PMHNP in Washington, DC. This licensure includes prescriptive authority. I completed a Masters in Nursing at Yale University in 2011.
